Solarians !
You all asked for a rarity guide. This article will give you the possibility to understand how our rarity system works in a general way. You will be able to figure out by yourself which part is rarer than others.
The first thing you need to know is that rarity percentages are not fixed yet, they will be once all 10,000 Solarians have been sold.
Random selection always incurs statistical noise. Thus, we are looking at two types of rarity: nominal and actual.
Nominal refers to the probability of a specific body part to be minted in a category. For example, in the picture below, the “Missile 4” part has a probability of 0.62% to be selected as the Legs part of a Solarian.
Taking all currently minted Solarians into account, however, its share in all the Legs that exist is actually 0.72%. This is what we refer to as “actual” rarity.

The key metric we use for the rarity of a specific Solarian is its “Average Rarity”, simply = [Title % + Luck % + Level % + (Item 1 % + Item 2 % + … + Item 8 %) ] / 11 characteristics.
Title : You need to know that there are 9 types of Solarians :
For example, every 100 Solarians, there are approximatively 30 Drones.
Name : The parts library contains 470 different names. Every name has the same chance to be part of the mint. In theory, this means that each name will be present around 21 times in the full set of 10,000 Solarians. In practice however, due to statistical noise, some names will be more rare than others.
Luck : From 1 to 100 this is the same distribution, i.e. 1% chance for each number. So it’s all about interpretation. There is no rarity strictly speaking, except we’ll use a Solarian’s Luck in upcoming features. Higher numbers of Luck are not necessarily better (at least at this stage).
Level : Higher is better, from 1 to 100. However, if we are talking from an investor view having special levels like 1, 10, 66, 77 (just examples) could have a special value.
Here is the distribution :
Body parts : Each Solarian consists of eight different body parts : Antenna, Eyes, Legs (or Feet), Hands, Head, Mouth, Scene and Torso. For each of these part categories, there is a list of part variations. These variations usually differ in shape and/or color, and are sourced from the “master” images that our artist created. For example, “Pitstick” is such a master image, with Legs “Pitstick 1” representing its Legs part.
Among each category, the variations have arbitrary numbers assigned to them, called “weights”. The weights express the relative probability of a part being selected. The probability in percent is 100 * w/W, with w being the weight of the variation and W being the sum of all weights in that category.
So if the sum of all weights in the Legs category is 10,000, and the Legs variation “Pitstick 1” has a weight of 50 assigned to it, then its probability of being selected as the Legs part of a Solarian is 100 * 50/10000 = 0.5%.
Each variation of each body part has a probability assigned to it that represents how often it should statistically appear. In this specific case, “Parameter 6” has a statistical probability of appearing 62 times in 10,000 Solarians, hence a supposed rarity % of 0.62%. However, reality could deviate from this.
